Please join us for our August General Meeting on Tuesday August 22nd (Note Date Change) . This meeting will will again feature candidates for Palm Springs City Council in the November 2017 election. Three candidates who have requested DSD endorsement will be provided the opportunity to state their qualifications and goals for this office and to answer questions from the audience. They are:
Ameenah Fuller
Christy Holstege
Robert Julian Stone

Lisa Middleton, who received our early endorsement, is also expected to attend and to participate in the Q&A.

Following the Q&A, members in attendance will be asked to vote for the endorsement of ONE of the three additional candidates. Members must be in "good standing" and present to vote.

Please join us starting at 6:00 pm at Mizell Senior Center, 480 S Sunrise Way, Palm Springs and bring your questions for the candidates.


On Monday September 18th we will be co-hosting (with HRC and EQCA) a fundraising event for Congressman Raul Ruiz M.D.

On Sunday, October 29, 2017, the Riverside County Democratic Party will present their annual Gary H. Bosworth Awards Luncheon. In the years since its inception, this annual event has become legendary, and this year it will offer the perfect Democratic "Trifecta" of guest speakers: California Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de Leon, California Senator Toni Atkins and California Democratic Party Chair Eric Bauman.

Save the date of November 18, 2017 for the very first Desert Hot Springs Pride Festival at Cabot's Pueblo Museum
The festival will be free to the public welcoming the LGBT community and supporters from throughout Southern California and beyond.
