The City of Palm Springs has launched its 2013 Election web page.
Palm Springs voters can now access information about the City’s upcoming November 5 election on a new, user-friendly web page. Voters can get information regarding City Council candidates, Measure “B,” voter registration, sample ballots, vote-by-mail applications and other available election services by visiting www.VotePalmSprings.com. Additionally, all election information can be accessed at the City’s Web site www.palmspringsca.gov.
If you missed last month’s DSD meeting – the candidates forum – or you want to hear what the non-Democrats in the race have to say, then you should not miss the Palm Springs Neighborhood Involvement Committee (PSNIC) PS City Council Candidates Forum, moderated by Hank Plante–Monday night, October 7.
Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Desert Regional Medical Center, Sinatra Education Center (corner of Tachevah/Miraleste) with the Forum starting at 6:30 p.m. Note: due to construction, parking across Tachevah is not available—best to park in the main hospital parking structure off Indian Canyon Dr. and walk through the hospital to the Sinatra center—signs will be posted to guide you. And for those with mobility difficulty, the small lot at Tachevah/Miraleste will be open to you. If you can’t make it to the Forum, the program will be re-broadcast starting Wednesday on PSCTV–see: http://www.palmsprings-ca.gov/index.aspx?page=262
